The Band
Firing Shawna came together the way most bands do — the right people finding each other at the right time. Vocalist and guitarist Terry connected with guitarist Tim through a local musician's network, drawn together by a shared taste for heavy riffs and melodic punch. The rhythm section fell into place over time, with drummer Scott and bassist Dex rounding out a lineup that finally felt like the real thing.
The sound sits somewhere between the melodic weight of Fuel, the groove and intensity of Incubus, and the raw kinetic energy of Foo Fighters — hard enough to shake a room, hooky enough to stick with you after the lights come up. Every original song comes from Terry, written with the kind of honesty that doesn't need to explain itself.
